each variety. Most varieties offered are of a commercial origin not normally available to
the amateur grower.
Cats go crazy over Catmint, they will eat the small nettle like greyish/blue leaves but they tend to leave the pretty lavender/pale purple flowers which the bees love. Makes a good edging plant as its fairly low growing. The oils can be used to releive headaches and tension.
Once the plant has established and is 10cm or larger, cut back regularly to promote new flowers.
