Description:
Found in many parts of the world. Fennel has feathery like bronze/dark purple foliage growing up to 2 meters tall with clusters of tiny yellow flowers. The leaves and seeds are used to flavour many dishes. The seeds have an amazing smell of Aniseed and is another ingredient for making Absinthe. It goes well with fish dishes and is said to help relive colds, flu and bad breath.
Harvest:
Pick once the plant has established from June onwards.
